Position: Senior Mobile Product Designer (UI/UX)
Location Remote (U.S.) with some travel to the Dallas Texas area required
Duration: 2–3 Month Contract
Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week)

Some flexibility may develop over the course of the engagement, but overlap with international team members is important during the initial phases.

As the organization continues to expand globally, they have asked us to find them a Senior Mobile Product Designer to help elevate and refine the experience across their iOS and Android applications.
This role is ideal for a designer who enjoys solving real-world user problems, simplifying complex workflows, and designing experiences that bridge the gap between physical products and mobile technology.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end UX and UI design initiatives across iOS and Android mobile applications.
- Evaluate and improve existing user journeys, navigation, information architecture, and visual design.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders across international teams.
- Translate complex technical functionality into intuitive and engaging user experiences.
- Improve interface copy and UX content to enhance clarity and usability for English-speaking users.
- Support localization and global product expansion efforts.
- Design workflows for setup, monitoring, scheduling, notifications, maintenance, and device management.
- Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, high-fidelity mockups, and design specifications.
- Conduct usability reviews and recommend improvements that increase customer satisfaction and adoption.
- Establish scalable design patterns and maintain consistency across mobile experiences.
- Partner with engineering teams through implementation, testing, and release cycles.
Qualifications
Required
- 7+ years of UI/UX or Product Design experience.
- Extensive experience designing native mobile applications for both iOS and Android.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating consumer-facing mobile product design work.
- Experience designing products that interact with connected hardware or physical devices.
- Expertise in user-centered design methodologies and mobile UX best practices.
- Advanced proficiency with Figma and modern design systems.
- Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, interaction models, and production-ready designs.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills in remote environments.
- Ability to simplify complex workflows into intuitive user experiences.
- Comfortable working with globally distributed teams and international time zones.
Preferred
- Experience with IoT, connected devices, smart home technology, robotics, automotive technology, or outdoor equipment.
- Experience supporting multilingual products and localization efforts.
- Background in UX writing, content design, or product copy optimization.
- Experience designing mobile experiences that interact with hardware in real-world environments.
- Familiarity with customer challenges involving connectivity, setup, monitoring, mapping, scheduling, and device control.
