About the Role

We’re looking for a hands-on, highly creative, and data-driven Growth & Marketing Specialist to join our team.

You’ll be responsible for growing our user base, increasing customer retention, and elevating EasySpend’s brand presence across multiple channels.

This isn’t just a marketing job — it’s a mission to build a leading fintech brand across Africa and beyond.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute full-funnel customer acquisition, activation, and retention strategies.

• Lead digital marketing campaigns across paid media, social media, SEO, referral, and influencer partnerships.

• Build and manage campaign budgets, ensuring strong ROI and measurable performance improvements.

• Analyze customer behavior and marketing analytics to optimize marketing performance and drive product adoption.

• Create powerful content strategies for TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter (X), and community engagement.

• Collaborate closely with the product, customer service, and leadership teams to align marketing with business goals.

• Develop and manage in-app growth campaigns (referral programs, challenges, bonus rewards).

Requirements

• 3+ years experience in growth marketing, performance marketing, or digital marketing roles (fintech or tech startup experience preferred).

• Proven track record of executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns that drove measurable growth.

• Deep understanding of social media marketing, influencer marketing, and paid acquisition strategies.

• Hands-on experience with tools like Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, SEO platforms, and marketing CRMs (Zoho experience is a bonus).

• Strong copywriting, content creation, and creative direction skills.

• Analytical mindset with a love for KPIs, A/B testing, and data-driven decision-making.

• Entrepreneurial spirit: self-starter, resourceful, agile, thrives in a fast-paced environment.

• Knowledge of the Nigerian and African digital ecosystem is highly preferred.

• Previous work with startups scaling from 0 to 100,000+ users.

• Basic design skills (Canva, Figma) or ability to work effectively with creatives.
