Role Overview:
The Sales and Marketing Consultant will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and closing new business opportunities for EasyCV within academic medical centers and their affiliated departments, expanding the growing client base around the country. This role requires a mix of strategic marketing, consultative sales, leveraging existing relationships, and relationship-building skills to effectively communicate the value of our SaaS platform to decision-makers in academic medicine and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:Sales Responsibilities:
· Determine most effective approaches for new potential client outreach
· Drive sales strategy by curating relevant potential client list for outreach
· Pre-qualify leads and obtain background information on potential clients to increase the likelihood of successfully closing the sales process
· Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including department (clinical and administrative) and faculty affairs leadership
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations tailored to the needs of the potential clients leveraging EasyCV subject matter experts as needed
- Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to negotiation and closing
- Work closely with implementation team to ensure smooth onboarding and retention.
- Track sales activities and pipeline progress in CRM software.
Marketing Responsibilities:
· Evaluate current marketing and sales strategy to determine most effective and efficient marketing strategy for outreach to new potential clients
· Drive marketing strategy by developing and refining sales messaging
- Develop targeted marketing campaigns to attract new clients (i.e. academic medical centers and their affiliated departments).
- Create content (emails, blog posts, case studies, whitepapers) to educate potential clients about our innovative SaaS solution.
- Create collateral materials for distribution at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events as requested; represent EasyCV as requested as well
- Collaborate with operational team to refine messaging and positioning.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to refine sales strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in SaaS or healthcare technology in healthcare preferred.
- Familiarity with academic medical centers and their operational challenges.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Experience using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and marketing automation platforms.
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced virtual environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience selling to academic medicine and/or higher education.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
