About the Role

We are looking for a data scientist to join our R&D team in a part- or full-time scope. The role involves designing, developing, and optimizing algorithms for our data to help improve the health of millions around the globe. We are looking for a candidate with a strong theoretical foundation in the mathematics that lie in the core of algorithm development in science and engineering, a strong academic background in a related field such as mathematics, physics, electrical engineering, or computer science, and a passion for solving complex problems.

• Working model: Remote, with time-tracking required (Employees are required to install the EGS Watch time-tracking tool to cross-check working hours)

• English: B2+

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize algorithms for data processing, analysis, and decision-making systems.
• Create and implement theoretical concepts into code.
• Analyze algorithm performance, complexity, and numerical stability.
• Document algorithm design, assumptions, and limitations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in Mathematics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of software development experience.
• Strong mathematical background.
• Solid programming skills in Python.
• Ability to independently take a problem from concept to implementation.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• English communication level B2 or above.

Preferred Qualifications

·        Master’s degree (or student) in a relevant field.

·        Familiarity with algorithm optimization for performance and scalability.

·        Experience working with real-world, noisy, large-scale data.
