Compensation: Up to $200k base + significant discretionary bonus

A global high-frequency trading firm focused on crypto markets is looking for a talented Core Systems Developer to join its world-class engineering team. The team operates globally across CeFi and DeFi venues, building state-of-the-art, 24/7 trading systems.

You will work at the centre of a high-performance environment, developing core infrastructure that processes millions of events across multiple platforms and currencies. Expect close collaboration with traders and senior engineers to design, build and deploy reliable, scalable systems.

What You’ll Do

• Develop core trading system infrastructure using Python (60%) and C++ (40%)
• Build and enhance components that support pricing, execution, PnL, and system stability
• Work directly with traders, middle office and engineering teams to understand challenges in both CeFi and DeFi environments
• Deploy production-ready code and take ownership of debugging, monitoring and ongoing improvements
• Participate in system design discussions, code reviews and idea generation

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years’ experience as a Software Engineer with strong coding fundamentals
• 3+ years hands-on with both Python and C++
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms and system design
• Demonstrable tenure and progression in previous roles
• Buy-side or high-performance trading systems experience
• Strong academic background - ideally a Bachelor’s or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar, with excellent results
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, testable code while delivering quickly in a fast-moving environment
• A proactive mindset, ownership mentality and willingness to support the systems you build
