Duarte’s Sr. Marketing Designer is a key contributor to the visual storytelling that defines our brand. This role blends creative leadership with hands-on design, bringing innovative, on-brand visuals to life across multiple channels. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in both creative execution and design fundamentals, with a strong understanding of marketing needs and industry trends.
As a Sr. Marketing Designer, you will:
- Uphold and enhance our brand's visual identity across all marketing outputs while strategically evolving its presence in response to trends and audience feedback.
- Design and execute compelling creative solutions for campaigns, ads, social assets, email templates, webinars, and landing pages.
- Collaborate across teams to ensure marketing visuals align with strategic goals, customer needs, and Duarte’s methodology.
- Produce final design solutions that are compelling and clickable, leveraging strong design fundamentals.
- Generate multiple distinct design options when prompted, demonstrating creative flexibility.
- Maintain an organized workflow, ensuring all assets are structured for easy team collaboration.

- This role primarily focuses on producing high-quality creative outputs, but performance will also be assessed based on:

Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesCreative Output
- Produce a variety of marketing assets, including ads, emails, social content, promotional materials, and event visuals.
- Refresh branded templates (social media, presentations, webinars) and maintain a consistent repository of high-quality assets.
- Design and enhance Academy product overviews, diagrams, and data visualizations.
- Regularly create visuals for blog posts, landing pages, and videos, ensuring alignment with UX best practices.
- Execute edits and production tasks with precision, from photo adjustments to sourcing stock images.
- Design with editability in mind, ensuring templates and files are easy to modify.
- Adhere to accessibility standards and ensure all work aligns with legal requirements.
Design Excellence
- Apply advanced design principles, including sophisticated use of shape, color theory, balance, and white space.
- Utilize grid systems effectively, ensuring all files are meticulously organized and easily editable.
- Drive creative innovation, developing and presenting diverse design concepts to stakeholders.
Marketing Expertise
- Use tools like Hubspot, Canva, BeFree (email templates), and PowerPoint to support marketing efforts.
- Stay updated on marketing trends, particularly for LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and email campaigns.
- Ensure visuals align with platform-specific requirements and industry best practices.
Communication & Collaboration
- Stay up to date in Monday.com and work with teams to ensure priorities and timelines are clear.
- Provide accurate time estimates for projects and proactively raise concerns to avoid delays.
- Engage in feedback loops, refining and improving work in response to input.
- Meet periodically with brand managers to review work and receive feedback.
- Organize files and maintain a collaborative workspace for seamless team interaction.
Process & Organization
- Keep marketing department folders organized with the latest contributions.
- Ensure production files are clean, well-organized, and free from unnecessary elements.
- Implement quality control processes to catch typos, orphans, and other design inconsistencies.

- Treat all tasks with complete ownership, scrutinizing output from every angle to deliver the highest standard of work.
- Balance speed with accuracy and quality, working with a sense of urgency.
- Actively participate in team meetings and share ideas for process improvements.

- Familiar with Duarte’s products, services, methodologies, and best practices.
- Aware of legal marks and able to implement them correctly in all designs.
- Understands the features, requirements, and trends of the platforms Duarte uses for marketing.
Requirements
Experience & Applications
- 3-5+ years of experience in marketing design or creative direction, preferably within a marketing or branding agency.
- Proven proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); experience with After Effects is a plus.
- Proficient in PowerPoint, Canva, and BeFree (or similar email template platforms).
- Experience designing for digital platforms, including web and social media.
- Basic knowledge of Marketing platforms like HubSpot and WordPress is preferred.
- Open to the future of AI in business and creative workflows.
Design Production
- Successfully completes basic photo tasks (color correction, background extensions, subject cutouts, face touch-ups).
- Capable of basic illustration work (human silhouettes, icons, Layered Organics).
- Sources stock images that fit the brand and reflect methodology and services accurately.
- Manages time and prioritizes multiple requests efficiently.
- Uses professional shortcuts and workflows to increase speed.
Communication Skills
- Proactively communicates schedule, capacity, and concerns.
- Highlights inconsistencies and seeks confirmation before assuming errors are intentional.
- Organizes work to facilitate critique and alignment with team goals.

Compensation
Base pay range (National Average): $72,200 - $83,000 per year
As a fully remote company, Duarte adjusts compensation based on regional base pay ranges, so your compensation may vary beyond this range, based on where you live. Duarte offers a total compensation package that includes monthly stipends for health, wellness, and tech spending, as well as benefits (including 100% subsidized medical coverage, dental, and vision for employees).
