Responsibilities:

DTEX is seeking a talented and skilled Software Engineer focused on developing systems software and applications on Linux platforms.
Design, develop, test, document and maintain software modules running on Linux platforms.
Work with other teams to develop new features and integrations between the various software components that comprise of the DTEX solution.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in CS or related Eng or Science fields
5+ years of experience in relevant roles
Strong skills with developing low level systems software on Linux platforms
Very good knowledge of Linux platform architecture and internals.
Very good knowledge of Linux administration skills
Strong skills in C, C++, and Linux Shell scripting
Knowledge of STL, containers, iterators, and other mainstream C++ language facilities
Knowledge of general OS internals such as kernel mode and user mode, device drivers, filesystems, networking concepts, process and application management, security and access control
Experience with performance tracing and measurement is beneficial (SystemTap, eBPF, kprobes, tracepoints, etc.)
Knowledge of developing device drivers and kernel modules
Knowledge of databases, cryptography, and troubleshooting in a Linux environment
Knowledge of Linux package management tools and concepts
Familiarity with modern tools and workflows (g++, gnu make, git, Jira, etc.)
