About the Role:
A growing group of consumer brands in the dietary supplement and wellness device space is seeking a Director of Marketing to strategically divide time across multiple rapidly-scaling verticals. This role requires a senior marketing leader who thrives in high-growth environments and excels at scaling omnichannel initiatives in regulated, science-driven categories.
The Organization:
Work directly with founders and other members of the executive team
Lead and develop an integrated marketing team of both in-house employees and specialized contractors
Oversee marketing for multiple brands at various growth stages, all experiencing rapid expansion
Key Responsibilities:
Architect and execute omnichannel growth strategy across DTC (Shopify), Amazon, and wholesale channels
Drive performance marketing, retention, CRO, SEO, affiliate, and influencer programs to exceed revenue targets
Define and maintain distinctive brand positioning across the brand portfolio
Develop compliant yet compelling messaging that translates scientific innovations into consumer benefits
Navigate FDA/FTC guidelines while maximizing marketing effectiveness
Spearhead new product launches and market expansion initiatives
Orchestrate trade show presence and strategic PR campaigns
Build strategies for high-ticket wellness device customer acquisition and conversion
Requirements:
Channel Expertise
Proven success in senior marketing roles within premium-priced, science-driven dietary supplement and/or wellness technology sectors
Mastery of Shopify DTC operations and Amazon Seller Central/DSP optimization
Strategic command of paid media, email marketing, SEO, and affiliate/influencer ecosystems
Experience developing wholesale channel strategies and supporting retail partners
Track record organizing high-ROI trade show and PR initiatives
Compliance & Strategic Leadership:
Ability to work with regulatory staff, and scientific advisors, to craft honest, scientifically accurate, and regulatory compliant messaging, while ensuring it remains persuasive.
History of building and mentoring high-performance marketing teams across disciplines
Analytical approach to marketing with focus on attributable revenue and LTV optimization
Documented success launching and scaling premium health products in competitive markets
