We are looking for a Software Engineer, Backend (AI Agent) to join us at Dreamwell, an influencer marketing platform focused on performance and revenue for some of the largest brands in the world. Backed by top VCs and Angel Investors, we’re scaling quickly to help brands maximize ROI and creators earn top dollar for their content.

The Role

As a Backend Software Engineer focused on AI Agents, you’ll play a critical role in building the intelligent backend infrastructure that powers our platform. Your primary responsibility will be developing sophisticated AI-driven agents that automate complex workflows, provide intelligent recommendations, and drive performance optimization. You’ll design robust backend systems, integrate advanced ML models, and shape the future of automated influencer marketing.

You’ll work in a high-autonomy, fast-moving environment and help scale Dreamwell’s backend as we expand to support more customers. Your expertise in data pipelines, API integration, and practical AI implementation will be essential in delivering actionable insights and powerful automations.

What You’ll Do

• Build sophisticated AI agents leveraging internal APIs and external tool integrations.

• Develop and maintain performant data pipelines and databases (e.g., Pinecone, Elasticsearch, Postgres, Redis).

• Create scalable backend services that integrate AI models to deliver automation and real-time insights.

• Design retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines to enhance intelligent backend recommendations.

• Build personalization and recommendation engines specifically tailored for influencer marketing optimization.

• Develop robust APIs to serve actionable AI-driven insights directly to frontend applications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience with a focus on production-grade systems.

• Hands-on experience building practical AI agents and embedding-based retrieval systems.

• Strong proficiency in Python, TypeScript, Node.js, and familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.

• Practical knowledge of deploying and managing scalable cloud-based infrastructures.

• Experience integrating AI solutions into backend systems.

• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and automate workflows effectively.
