Role Overview

We are hiring an Email & Marketing Graphic Designer to become our go-to designer for all email marketing clients.

This role is email-first. You will own visual execution across lifecycle and campaign emails, build scalable systems, and improve conversion-focused design. You will also support paid social creative when needed.

This is a high-output, self-sufficient role. We expect you to be proficient in leveraging AI tools to accelerate ideation, production, iteration, and workflow efficiency.

Core ResponsibilitiesEmail Design & Lifecycle Creative (Primary Focus)

  • Design high-converting email campaigns and automated flows
  • Build modular, scalable email templates
  • Create mobile-first, conversion-focused layouts
  • Collaborate with strategists on structure, hooks, and offer framing
  • Maintain brand consistency across multiple DTC accounts
  • Continuously improve hierarchy, CTA structure, and visual clarity
  • Use AI tools to accelerate concepting, layout exploration, copy refinement, and iteration

Performance Marketing Creative (Secondary Support)

  • Design static paid social ads
  • Create visual variations for A/B testing
  • Translate performance insights into new creative iterations
  • Collaborate closely with media buyers and creative strategists
  • Use AI tools to rapidly generate concepts and variations

Design Tools, Systems, Workflow & AI Integration

  • Build organized file structures and scalable workflows
  • Use AI to streamline production, research, inspiration gathering, and creative iteration
  • Improve internal creative systems and documentation
  • Ensure on-time creative delivery across accounts
  • Proficient with Figma, photoshop, and AI tools
  • Well organized with spreadsheets, task lists, and proficient with deadlines

  • Improved click-through rates and engagement across email campaigns
  • Strong collaboration between retention and paid teams
  • Reliable, on-time delivery with minimal oversight
  • Well organized processes, templates, and workflows established
  • Scalable processes and templates when adding new clients

Must-Have Experience

  • 3–6+ years designing for DTC brands
  • Strong portfolio of real email marketing work (not just mockups)
  • Experience with Klaviyo or similar ESP
  • Deep understanding of mobile-first hierarchy and CTA structure
  • Experience designing paid social static creative
  • Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Demonstrated experience using AI tools in daily workflow (ChatGPT, Midjourney, image generation tools, etc.)
  • Ability to explain how AI improves your output and efficiency
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple brands simultaneously
  • Expertise in typography, hierarchy, and visual aesthetics across digital platforms

Strong Plus If You Have

  • Agency experience managing multiple DTC accounts
  • Experience building modular email systems
  • Basic HTML knowledge for email formatting
  • Understanding of performance metrics (CTR, revenue per recipient, conversion rate)
  • Experience working directly with founders or CEOs
