Overview
We’re looking for a technically skilled and forward-thinking Marketing Operations Manager to join our marketing team.
This is a pivotal role that blends marketing automation, data infrastructure, and AI-driven innovation — ensuring every campaign, workflow, and insight runs seamlessly and intelligently.
You’ll be an integral member of the marketing team, partnering closely with campaign, content, and performance leads to power our marketing engine. Your expertise in HubSpot, coding, and process design will help us operate smarter, scale faster, and communicate more effectively with our customers.

Key Responsibilities
HubSpot Management & Optimisation
- Own the full HubSpot environment across Marketing Hub, Sales Hub, and CRM integrations.
- Build and manage complex workflows and nurture programs for ABM and lifecycle campaigns.
- Maintain high standards of data hygiene, enrichment, and segmentation, ensuring reliable reporting and targeting.
- Develop custom dashboards and analytics for campaign, funnel, and attribution tracking.
- Partner with Sales Operations to ensure end-to-end data consistency between marketing and sales systems.
- Actively promote the use of HubSpot within the business, monitoring any new releases that might be beneficial to the business and providing training for the wider Dragonfly AI team.
ABM Management & Team Collaboration
- Work hand-in-hand with the marketing team to operationalise campaigns, events, and ABM initiatives through smart workflows and automation.
- Translate campaign strategies into scalable, measurable, and automated systems that drive growth.
- Serve as the operational core of the marketing department — ensuring data accuracy, process consistency, and tech-enabled efficiency.
- Provide hands-on support and enablement for team members, offering training and guidance on HubSpot usage and reporting.
AI-Driven Innovation & Efficiency
- Lead exploration of AI tools and integrations to improve campaign execution, data management, and customer communication.
- Proactively identify opportunities to use AI for workflow automation, lead scoring, content personalisation, predictive analytics, and customer insights.
- Test and implement AI-powered solutions (e.g. HubSpot AI, ChatGPT integrations, or data-driven campaign optimisation tools) to improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with other teams to bring AI innovation into sales enablement, customer engagement, and internal process automation.
- Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and make recommendations to improve how we work and communicate as a business.
Technical & Coding Capabilities
- Write and maintain custom code (HubSpot Operations Hub, JavaScript, Python, or API integrations) to extend automation capabilities.
- Build and maintain data pipelines between HubSpot and external tools or data sources.
- Create and run automated scripts for cleansing, enrichment, and reporting optimisation.
- Evaluate and integrate new tools or connectors to enhance performance and data flow.
Governance & Continuous Improvement
- Develop and document SOPs and operational frameworks to ensure scalable, repeatable processes.
- Conduct audits and health checks to optimise marketing performance and system usage.
- Ensure compliance with GDPR and other privacy standards across all systems and workflows.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement and experimentation, where data and technology drive better decisions.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- 4+ years’ experience in Marketing Operations or Automation, ideally in a B2B SaaS or performance-driven environment.
- Expert-level proficiency in HubSpot, particularly workflow automation, CRM data management, and reporting.
- Experience with ABM tools (Zoominfo, Cognism, Demandbase, Terminus, RollWorks, etc.).
- Demonstrable coding experience (e.g. JavaScript, Python, or API scripting).
Desirable
- Experience identifying and implementing AI or automation tools to improve processes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills — able to translate technical complexity into actionable insights for the team.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset and genuine curiosity for how things can be improved.
- Background in marketing analytics or growth operations.
