We’re hiring a Performance Marketing Project Manager, a hybrid role for someone who can own campaign execution and performance, lead/coordinate a team, and manage client relationships end-to-end. Music or audio industry experience is secondary to performance marketing + management skills, but personal music experience is required (musician/producer/engineer/etc.).
What you’ll do (Responsibilities)Performance & Campaign Ownership
- Lead the creation, launch, optimization, and scaling of paid campaigns—primarily Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Google Ads, with potential expansion to TikTok and Reddit. Actual execution would be done by another ad expert.
- Translate client goals into clear paid strategies, campaign structures, and testing plans
- Ensure best practices across targeting, creative direction, landing page alignment, and conversion tracking
- Monitor performance daily/weekly, make optimization decisions, and document learnings
Project, Team & Process Management
- Own the full campaign lifecycle: intake → strategy → production coordination → launch → optimization → reporting → wrap/retainer continuity
- Coordinate internal team members, assign tasks, and keep projects moving on time
- Improve systems: reporting templates, briefs, checklists, SOPs, and project workflows
Client & Account Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients (artists, music tech companies, startups, and occasionally labels)
- Run regular client calls, present results clearly, gather feedback, and guide next steps
- Build strong long-term relationships while setting expectations and keeping deliverables on track
Reporting & Insights
- Deliver weekly and/or per-campaign reporting with clear takeaways and action plans
- Communicate performance in a way that clients understand—turning data into decisions
What we’re looking forMust-haves
- Strong performance marketing background with 5+ years managing paid media (Meta and/or Google Ads) and prolific knowledge of GA4, Good Tag Manager, and other analytics tools
- Team leadership/management experience (you’ve led a performance team or managed multiple contributors/agencies/freelancers)
- Client-facing account experience: confident presenting results, handling feedback, and guiding strategy
- Full-cycle understanding of performance marketing: strategy → setup → tracking → creative direction → optimization → reporting
- Fluent or conversational English (B1+ or higher), strong written communication
- Music experience is required (personal or professional: musician/producer/engineer/DJ/composer/etc.) and genuine interest in the industry
- High attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple priorities without dropping balls
Nice-to-haves
- Agency experience (highly valued)
- Experience with TikTok Ads / Reddit Ads / Bing Ads / other ad platforms
- Familiarity with music tech products, DSP ecosystems, or artist/label marketing
- Strong grasp of creative testing frameworks and performance-driven creative direction
