Dotmax Global is hiring on behalf of an international marketing agency for a Head of Marketing to lead both growth and client delivery.
You’ll be responsible for how the agency grows, how marketing is run internally, and the quality of work delivered to clients.
You’ll work closely with the founder on overall direction, but you’ll have full ownership of the marketing function.
Scope of the Role
- Define and refine the agency’s positioning, messaging, and go-to-market approach
- Develop and execute acquisition strategies across organic, paid, and partnership channels
- Oversee the agency’s digital presence, including website, content, and conversion pathways
- Establish a coherent growth model tied to measurable commercial outcomes
- Lead SEO strategy across technical, content, and authority-building dimensions
- Oversee paid media strategy and performance (Google, Meta)
- Ensure websites and landing pages are designed and optimised for conversion
- Maintain ownership of client relationships, including delivery quality, reporting, and retention
- Intervene directly where necessary to uphold standards or resolve performance issues
- Build and lead a lean, high-performing marketing team
- Engage and manage external contractors where appropriate
- Design and implement systems, workflows, and operating procedures that enable scale
- Take full accountability for performance metrics, including pipeline generation and revenue contribution
Candidate Profile
We are looking for a candidate with a strong combination of technical competence, commercial judgement, and operational discipline.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in digital marketing, preferably within an agency environment
- Demonstrated capability across SEO, paid media, and web strategy
- Experience managing client engagements end-to-end, including retention and performance accountability
- Prior experience building or managing a team
- Clear understanding of how marketing activity translates into revenue outcomes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to operate independently, prioritise effectively, and make sound decisions under uncertainty
Desirable Experience
- Experience scaling a marketing function or agency in an early-stage or growth environment
- Familiarity with CMS platforms such as Webflow or WordPress
- Experience with CRM systems, marketing automation, and lead generation tools
- A portfolio or case studies demonstrating measurable impact
