We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to lead the end-to-end conversion from Google Workspace (formerly G Suite) to Microsoft 365 (M365) for our organization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing migration projects of this scale and complexity, particularly in environments where security, compliance, and business continuity are paramount. Prior experience moving from Google to M365 is essential, and a background in healthcare or highly regulated industries is highly desirable.

As Project Manager, you will oversee all phases of the migration, from planning and stakeholder engagement to execution, troubleshooting, and post-implementation support. You will coordinate with IT teams, external vendors, business leaders, and end users to ensure a seamless transition that meets both technical and organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stakeholder Management: Identify and engage key stakeholders across clinical and administrative departments, IT leadership, compliance, and information security. Facilitate regular communication, updates, and feedback sessions to keep stakeholders informed and involved
  • Technical Oversight: Collaborate with IT architects, migration engineers, and vendors to design and implement the migration strategy. Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with healthcare regulations (such as HIPAA or local equivalents)
  • Vendor & Partner Coordination: Manage relationships with third-party vendors and consultants, ensuring deliverables align with project objectives, budgets, and timelines.
  • Scheduling & Resource Allocation: Oversee project scheduling and resource management, ensuring appropriate personnel and technology resources are allocated at each project phase
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Drive rigorous testing of data migrations, system integrations, security controls, and workflows before production roll-out. Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and remediation of issues
  • Issue & Risk Management: Proactively identify potential risks and obstacles, develop contingency plans, and resolve issues as they arise, minimizing disruption to business operations

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT project management, with at least 2 years managing large-scale cloud platform migrations, including Google Workspace to Microsoft 365
  • Experience migrating from on-prem to cloud
  • Demonstrated expertise in coordinating technical and non-technical teams across multiple departments
  • Strong understanding of Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 capabilities, architecture, and migration methodologies
  • Experience managing projects within highly regulated industries; prior work in healthcare is a significant plus
  • Knowledge of relevant compliance and security frameworks such as HIPAA, SOC 2, GDPR, or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct experience overseeing Google Workspace to Microsoft 365 migrations in healthcare settings
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems, health information exchanges, and interoperability requirements
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in geographically dispersed environments
  • Advanced expertise in security, data privacy, and compliance as applied to cloud-based productivity platforms
  • Proven track record of successful change management and user adoption initiatives
