The SR Director of Marketing is responsible for the strategy to create interest, demand, and recognition for company sourced products and customer solutions. This individual will serve as a marketing partner working closely with product owners and various thought leaders within the organization – aligning marketing strategy with overall business objectives. Responsibilities include planning, organizing, and directing all marketing functions related to achieving the company objective of sales, growth, profits, and visibility while ensuring the marketing message and positioning is consistent with the corporate direction. This position will closely align with business leaders, sales, account management, finance, supply chain and HR to accomplish the goals.
Essential Job Functions:
- Develop annual marketing business plan for respective sales channels, including setting annual business strategies for areas of responsibilities.
- Provide guidance to departments regarding brand standards, champion adoption throughout the enterprise.
- Create and manage programs designed to enhance brand recognition, build trust, drive product demand, and lead generation.
- Improve marketing lead generation projects with sales and provide research on potential customers and competitors.
- Assist with identifying and selecting target markets and prospects.
- Manages the development of collateral materials in accordance with business and sales strategies.
- Support the development and execution of branding; manage marketing programs that drive usage and awareness of respective sales channel content on enterprise / brand websites.
- Collaborate and manage execution of the online strategy for marketing to make the most of this important medium.
- Ensure consistent communication and support between departments and other divisions.
- Use creative PR strategies to build relationships with stakeholders and media to include press releases, advertising, and social media messages.
- Develop and manage education programs and marketing tools for all products for all appropriate staff.
- Assist in the creation and coordination of client partnership presentations for internal staff.
- Identify and direct market research as needed to support sales strategies.
- Generates and manages marketing budget.
Qualifications
- Experience should be well rounded in all aspects of marketing, product management, lead generation, marketing attribution, and marketing related sales activities.
- Knowledge and understanding of distribution channels, branding, digital technology trends, customer buying patterns, budgeting, advertising, P&L background, digital marketing, database marketing, and account-based marketing.
- High level of comfort with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Detail oriented with proactive communication skills and excellent follow-through and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Experience in B2B marketing, customer development, and channel development. Knowledge in SEO and web analytics.
- Excellent analytical and project management skills - ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions and deal with abstract and concrete variables; demonstrated ability to analyze difficult situations, problems and data; use good judgment and decision making.

- Manage, mentor and develop marketing manager(s) supporting all DFS marketing activities
Education or Formal Training:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing with a minimum of 8 – 10+ years’ experience in marketing with 5-8 years of demonstrated success in progressive leadership roles
