Senior Product Designer

We are hiring Senior Product Designers to join a fast growing FinTech that is well backed and scaling quickly. These are domain ownership roles rather than screen production seats. You will take a product area and own the experience from start to finish, becoming the person who knows it better than anyone.

We are hiring across several domains, so think onboarding, payments, cards, business banking and more.

You will join a FinTech working in a regulated, trust heavy space where design quality has a real effect on the product. Design is treated as a core discipline here, not a service function that gets handed tickets. After a strong period of growth they are investing properly in their design team, which is why there is more than one seat open.

Discover the role

You will own a defined product domain in full. That means spotting the problems worth solving, running your own research, forming a clear view, designing it with genuine craft, shipping it with engineering and then checking whether it actually improved things. You will not sit and wait for a polished brief. You will work out what matters, make the call and pull the right people together to move it forward.

You will work inside a small cross functional team alongside Product, Engineering, Data and CX, so you stay close to everyone rather than designing on your own island.

Discover the responsibilities

• Take ownership of a full product domain, including its users, journeys, data, goals and constraints.
• Spot friction and unmet needs, then shape messy problems into clear ones backed by evidence.
• Run your own research by speaking to users, studying behaviour and reading the product data.
• Design across the whole craft, from flows and interaction through to polished UI and prototypes.
• Stay close to engineering through build and launch, working through trade offs and reviewing the result.
• Set success measures, follow the right metrics and keep improving based on what you learn.

Discover the requirements

• FinTech or Crypto experience is a big must, along with any regulated or trust critical background.
• B2C mobile expertise is also a must.
• Genuinely strong visual and product design craft, with a portfolio that shows both beautiful work and solved problems.
• AI already part of how you think, research, design and prototype. This part is not optional.
• A track record of owning work from discovery through to production and past it.
• Sound product judgment and the confidence to make firm decisions when things are unclear.
• Real depth in a specific product, journey or problem area.
• A habit of going straight to users and data rather than leaning on opinion.
• Drive and independence, so you find opportunities and act on them without being asked.
• AI already part of how you think, research, design and prototype. This part is not optional.

One honest note

This is not the right role if you want problems handed to you fully formed, if your involvement stops the moment a design is passed over, or if AI is something you intend to learn at some point. If any of that sounds like you, it probably is not the fit.
