Our client in the wholesale building materials space is hiring a Growth Marketing Manager!
THE ROLE
We are a growing ecomm brand at an early stage, and we need someone who can walk in and own our entire marketing function. This role is for a hands-on generalist who has built marketing programs from scratch, knows what good looks like, and can execute without hand-holding. You'll have two junior team members available for administrative and operational support, but the vision, strategy, and execution are yours to drive. You'll report directly to the founders and be expected to bring ideas, set direction, and move fast.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Build the content engine. You’ll create a repeatable system for producing and distributing content (UGC, short-form video, organic social), including cadence, formats, and feedback loops
- Own influencer partnerships. Source and vet creators, negotiate deals, set CPM benchmarks, draft agreements, and cultivate long-term relationships
- Run and optimize Meta campaigns by plugging creative into the ad account, interpreting performance data, and scaling what’s working efficiently
- Formalize email and retention flows in Klaviyo, including welcome sequences, post-purchase flows, winbacks, and automation systems
- Lead product and promotional launch campaigns end-to-end, including positioning, messaging, creator coordination, launch calendars, offer strategy, and cross-channel execution
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Proven hands-on experience at a small startup or early-stage DTC brand (you've built programs where nothing existed)
- Prior influencer marketing experience. You know what fair deals look like, how to vet creators, and how to structure agreements
- Comfortable running Meta ads independently (setup, creative testing, and optimization)
- Klaviyo experience. Able to build and optimize email flows, not just send campaigns
- Experience planning and executing successful launch campaigns for DTC products or promotions
- Strong understanding of launch strategy, including offer construction, creator coordination, content rollout, and conversion-focused execution
- Deep understanding of the US/Canadian consumer market (product category knowledge is a plus)
- Self-starter who brings ideas and drives execution and able to educate leadership on strategy and best practices
- Comfortable being the primary executor and vision-setter for a lean, remote team
WHAT YOU WON'T DEAL WITH
- Low-value admin tasks. Junior team members handle those
- Waiting on leadership to define your priorities, you'll come with the plan
- Micromanagement. You'll have full ownership of the marketing function
