Job Summary:
Our client is looking for someone to lead their performance marketing engine across DTC and Amazon. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will be responsible for scaling customer acquisition, improving retention, and driving efficient, sustainable growth across channels.
You’ll own performance strategy across Meta, Google, Amazon, email/SMS, and emerging platforms—while working closely with creative, product, and external vendors to optimize every step of the customer journey.
Responsibilities:
- Own and lead our client's growth strategy across DTC and Amazon, including Paid Social, Paid Search, Email/SMS, and emerging channels (YouTube, affiliate, retail media, etc.).
- Manage and optimize the performance media budget with a deep focus on CAC, MER, ROAS, and LTV.
- Collaborate with creative partners and internal stakeholders to develop performance-focused creative that converts.
- Partner with Amazon vendors or teams to ensure unified strategy, efficient cross-channel execution, and measurable growth.
- Run experimentation and testing across all stages of the funnel to increase conversion, retention, and overall efficiency.
- Translate performance data into actionable insights, reports, and strategic growth recommendations for leadership.
- Act as a key thought partner to the CEO—helping shape the roadmap, challenge assumptions, and drive smart, sustainable growth.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years in growth or performance marketing roles at high-growth DTC or omnichannel brands.
- Experience leading marketing efforts at a business doing $25MM+ in revenue, with a proven ability to scale paid efforts efficiently.
- Deep knowledge of Meta, Google, Amazon, and ideally YouTube or other emerging channels.
- Demonstrated ability to balance short-term performance and long-term brand building.
- Experience managing creative feedback loops, testing structures, and funnel optimization tactics.
- Data-driven mindset with expertise in attribution, dashboards, and tooling best practices.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with brand, product, creative, and external vendors.
- Clear communicator with strong opinions, low ego, and a bias for action.
