Our client in the Food & Beverage industry is hiring Digital Marketing Director!
About the Role
We’re looking for an E-commerce Digital Marketing Director who can connect the dots across brand, performance, and retail. This is not a narrow paid media role, and it’s not a traditional brand marketing role either. You’ll sit at the intersection of digital and retail, responsible for making sure everything happening online ultimately supports growth where it matters most: in-store and across key retail partners.
You’ll own how digital marketing drives awareness, consideration, and conversion across channels from paid media and DTC to Amazon and retail. The goal is simple: turn digital activity into real-world sales while continuing to scale e-commerce performance. This role is ideal for someone who understands that great marketing doesn’t live in silos and knows how to translate brand momentum into omnichannel growth. We’re also open to strong profiles from adjacent industries with DTC and retail experience, including beauty, skincare, supplements, and similar consumer brands.
What You’ll Own
Omnichannel Strategy
- Build and execute a cohesive digital strategy that supports retail, Amazon, and DTC growth
- Align brand awareness, paid acquisition, and e-commerce efforts into one clear growth engine
- Ensure digital marketing efforts are driving measurable lift in retail performance
Performance & Paid Media
- Oversee paid media strategy across channels (Meta, Google, etc.)
- Manage agency partners while staying close enough to the work to guide performance
- Balance short-term efficiency with long-term brand building
E-commerce & Conversion
- Own DTC performance, including site optimization and conversion rate improvements
- Identify opportunities to increase AOV, retention, and customer lifetime value
- Partner with internal and external teams to improve the full customer journey
Amazon & Retail Support
- Support Amazon growth as a key revenue channel
- Develop strategies that connect digital campaigns to in-store sell-through
- Collaborate with retail teams to ensure marketing supports key launches and promotions
Brand & Creative Alignment
- Work closely with creative and brand teams to ensure consistency across channels
- Provide input on messaging, positioning, and campaign direction based on performance insights
What We’re Looking For
- 5–7 years of experience in digital, e-commerce, or growth roles
- Background in consumer brands with both retail and DTC presence
- Experience scaling DTC businesses into the $10–20M+ range
- Strong understanding of how digital marketing impacts retail sales
- Experience with TikTok growth and emerging acquisition channels preferred
- Experience managing agencies and cross-functional partners
- Comfortable operating across strategy and execution
- Senior enough to lead but still close enough to the work to drive results
