Description:
We are a US-based company hiring a Social Media Manager to lead our digital presence across platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter, and more. This role requires a combination of video editing skills, creative campaign development, and strategic outreach to help us grow brand awareness and drive engagement. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and brings new ideas to the table with a sharp eye for what performs online. 20-30 hours a week. Fully remote. Must be ENGLISH-SPEAKING.
Salary: $800/mo with the opportunity to take on additional projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow our presence across Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube.
- Create short-form videos and visual content using Canva and video editing tools.
- Repurpose existing footage into high-quality YouTube videos that align with brand messaging.
- Write captions, hashtags, and social copy that reflect our tone and drive engagement.
- Schedule and post content across platforms and monitor performance.
- Launch and monitor paid ad campaigns across platforms (primarily Meta and LinkedIn).
- Run outreach campaigns to increase visibility, partnerships, and lead generation.
- Track and report on performance metrics weekly and monthly.
- Research trends, competitors, and relevant content to inform our strategy.
- Maintain a consistent visual identity and brand voice across all content.
Key Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience managing social media for a brand or agency.
- Proficiency in Canva, Instagram Reels, video editing software, and social scheduling tools.
- Experience running paid ads on Meta, LinkedIn, or YouTube.
- Strong written communication skills and understanding of social media best practices.
- Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage content calendars and campaigns.
- Must own and be able to use a working computer with high-speed internet. Possess a positive attitude, a team mentality, and great interpersonal skills with a flexible working style (Be a match to our awesome culture!).
Nice to Have:
- Experience designing websites and understanding of ADA compliance standards.
- Experience turning raw footage or existing content into professional YouTube videos.
- Experience working in a startup or agency environment.
- Familiarity with SEO or content marketing.
- Experience working with CRMs or marketing automation tools.
