SAP BW/4HANA Developer (German-speaking) | Remote | Freelance

We are currently supporting a major energy client and are looking for an experienced SAP BW/4 Developer to join a Data & Analytics programme

• Location: 100% Remote
• Engagement: Freelance
• Language: German + English required

⚡ Project Overview

You will contribute to the development and operation of SAP BW/4HANA data models, delivering critical insights to internal stakeholders, external partners, and regulatory bodies.

The role sits within a Data & Analytics domain, focused on market communication and master data reporting.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Translate technical requirements into solution designs aligned with client standards
• Define, document, and present BW/4HANA data models
• Develop and implement data models and technical objects in SAP BW/4HANA
• Work with source systems (SAP MaCo Cloud, SAP S/4 Utilities, CSV)
• Perform data validation, issue identification, and data cleansing
• Ensure high-quality delivery aligned with Product Owner priorities
• Document developments and support handover to operations

🧩 Required Skills

• Strong experience with SAP BW/4HANA
• Expertise in ABAP and HANA SQL
• Experience with SAP S/4 Utilities and data modelling
• Familiarity with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
• Experience working in agile environments
• Strong communication and stakeholder interaction skills
• High level of ownership and accountability
