We are recruiting a freelance Embedded Software Engineer role for a Automotive Technology Customer based in Munich, Germany:
Duration: 6 months + chance of extensions
Location: Remote with occasional travel to site (once or twice per month)
Language: German & English Speaking (Preferred but not a must)
Pay Rate: Negotiable
Context:
- Giving direction to follow existing AS&UX standards in SW development process:
- Collecting and analysing SW requirements,
- Defining SW architecture,
- Preparing SW design documentation,
- Programming SW modules,
- Preparing and performing tests to verify SW work products.
- Supporting System Engineer to define system architecture.
- Keeping contacts with clients in area of software task.
- Play a role of mentor in solving technical problems.
- Force to accomplish tasks in accordance to AS&UX and TCK quality standards and schedules.
- Co-ordination and/or leading SW activities during project development.
- Support co-operation with local and remote AS&UX teams.
- Representing company as an engineering professional (e.g. member of professional
- organizations, author of patents and publications).
- Further development of professional qualifications.
- Support innovation and organisation programs.
- Care for good company image.
- Care for confidential information and company’s property.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
(indicate whether R – required or P - preferred)
- MSc degree in Electronics or Computer Science or related R
- Great expert in a specific technical domain R
- Prior experience in designing and programming microcontrolers and processors R
- Three SW project lifecycles at an Automotive Technology firm or a company with a similar engineering process R
- Experience in coordinating SW project P
- Very good knowledge of tools for programming microcontrollers and processors R
- Very good knowledge of SW engineering tools supporting software production process R
