The Role

We’re seeking a hands-on Lead Product Owner/ Architect/Engineer who thrives on taking an idea from concept to delivery. This is not a purely architectural role. You’ll be an expert-level coder, a technical mentor, and an owner of business outcomes.

You will evolve our existing platform into an AI-native system, embedding AI and GenAI across every layer of our stack and driving tangible operational and care improvements.

What You’ll Do

• End-to-End Ownership: Own product engineering from ideation, technical design, development, and deployment to delivering quantifiable impact.
• Code & Build: Be hands-on with coding (Python, Node, etc.), ensuring the team builds systems that are fast, scalable, secure, and AI-enabled.
• AI-First Development: Champion the integration of AI/ML and GenAI technologies into our product roadmap. All future development must have AI at the core.
• Business Outcome Focus: Translate product ideas into measurable business results – whether improving operational KPIs, care delivery efficiency, or user engagement.
• Technical Leadership Without Line Management: Act as a mentor and coach to other engineers. Share best practices, review code, and ensure quality, scalability, and performance.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with product, care, clinical, and data teams to co-develop features. Align system design to user and business needs.
• Simplify the Complex: Translate complex problems (healthcare data, multi-modal AI pipelines) into elegant, simple, and maintainable systems.
• Compliance & Security: Ensure HIPAA, SOC2, and HITRUST compliance is met without compromising innovation or user experience.
• Be Agile & Iterative: Ship fast, iterate, and drive continuous improvement.

What You Bring

• 5-10  years of product development  engineering experience, preferably in a start-ups
• A proven track record of shipping full-stack products end-to-end and owning measurable business KPIs.
• Demonstrated desire and experience with AI/ML models, GenAI tools, APIs (e.g., OpenAI, LangChain), and their practical application.
• Strong cloud (AWS, GCP), database (SQL, NoSQL), and API architecture experience.
• Experience integrating with digital health devices, health systems, EHR/EMR, wearables, or IoT platforms.
• You thrive in ambiguity and can take an early-stage idea and convert it into working production software.
• You bring both technical craft and product sense—understanding what will move the needle.
