Join DN as a Splunk Developer – Drive Insight Through Data Visualization

Design and develop Splunk dashboards that seamlessly blend real-time data with static lookup tables.
Optimize visualizations for performance and user experience in both Splunk Cloud and Splunk Enterprise environments.
Own the health of the Splunk ecosystem—managing data ingestion, troubleshooting issues, and engineering smart workarounds.
Collaborate across teams to understand business needs and deliver solutions that integrate smoothly into operational workflows.
Apply modern tools and best practices to ensure system functionality, security, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain high-performance Splunk dashboards and searches that deliver fast, intuitive data visualizations for complex event data and static lookup tables.
Design, code, test, and document Splunk components to ensure seamless integration with other enterprise applications and data sources.
Troubleshoot and support Splunk Cloud and Splunk Enterprise environments, proactively identifying and resolving issues related to data ingestion, system health, and performance.
Collaborate cross-functionally to translate business requirements into clear, actionable technical objectives and scalable Splunk solutions.
Estimate development effort for Splunk components and contribute to overall project planning and cost estimation.
Apply secure coding practices and contribute to the development of aligned testing strategies to ensure system integrity and reliability.
Ensure quality, performance, and adherence to specifications across assigned development tasks and adjacent technologies.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and automation within Splunk implementations and broader product workflows.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship general users, work cooperatively with fellow Splunk developer, reviewing work and offering constructive feedback.
Demonstrate leadership in task and project execution, taking ownership of deliverables within defined areas of responsibility.
Stay current with Splunk best practices, tools, and innovations to drive continuous improvement and system evolution.
Work with other teams providing data to ensure license limits and continued health.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

Diploma or equivalent work experience required.
Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in Software Engineering.
Good business English skills (Written and spoken).
