Marketing Lead – Digital & Traditional Marketing
About the Role
We are looking for a strategic, creative, and results-driven Marketing Lead to lead our overall marketing function across digital and traditional marketing channels.
The Marketing Lead will be responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing strategies that strengthen brand presence, drive customer and user acquisition, generate leads, increase engagement, and contribute directly to business growth.
This role will lead marketing initiatives across digital advertising, social media, content, SEO, brand campaigns, events, partnerships, PR, offline activations, and traditional media.
The ideal candidate is both a strategic thinker and strong executor who can lead a marketing team, manage budgets, develop high-impact campaigns, analyze performance, and turn business objectives into measurable marketing results.
Key Responsibilities1. Overall Marketing Strategy
Develop and execute the company’s overall annual, quarterly, and monthly marketing strategy.
Translate business objectives into clear marketing goals, campaigns, KPIs, and action plans.
Develop integrated digital and traditional marketing campaigns to achieve business and brand objectives.
Identify new marketing channels, opportunities, and growth initiatives.
Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and audience research to identify opportunities.
Continuously evaluate marketing performance and adjust strategies based on data, market trends, and business priorities.
Build a strong and consistent brand presence across all customer touchpoints.
2. Digital Marketing
Oversee digital marketing activities across Google Ads, YouTube Ads, Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram), SEO, social media, email marketing, content marketing, and other relevant channels.
Work closely with the Digital Marketing Specialist to develop campaign objectives, targeting strategies, budgets, and performance goals.
Monitor key performance metrics including ROAS, CAC, CPL, CPA, CTR, conversion rate, leads, traffic, engagement, and user acquisition.
Ensure proper tracking, analytics, attribution, and conversion measurement across digital campaigns.
Identify opportunities to scale high-performing campaigns and improve underperforming campaigns.
Stay updated with changes in digital platforms, advertising technologies, algorithms, and industry trends.
3. Traditional & Offline Marketing
Develop and execute offline and traditional marketing strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
Plan and manage marketing activities such as:
Events and activations
College and community outreach
Street marketing
Outdoor advertising
Print advertising
Radio and TV advertising
Promotional campaigns
Brand merchandise and collateral
Sponsorships and partnerships
Develop innovative on-ground campaigns that increase brand awareness, engagement, and customer acquisition.
Measure the effectiveness and ROI of offline marketing initiatives.
Coordinate with vendors, agencies, event partners, media houses, and external stakeholders.
4. Brand Management
Own and strengthen the company’s overall brand strategy and positioning.
Ensure consistent brand messaging, tone, visual identity, and communication across digital and offline channels.
Lead brand awareness and reputation-building initiatives.
Develop campaigns around festivals, seasonal opportunities, product launches, promotions, and major company initiatives.
Identify opportunities to differentiate the brand from competitors.
5. Campaign Planning & Execution
Lead campaigns from ideation → planning → execution → monitoring → reporting → optimization.
Develop campaign concepts, objectives, target audiences, budgets, timelines, and KPIs.
Coordinate with content, design, digital marketing, sales, product, and other teams for campaign execution.
Review and approve campaign creatives, messaging, content, and promotional materials.
Ensure campaigns are delivered on time and within budget.
Conduct post-campaign analysis and document learnings for future campaigns.
6. Team Leadership
Lead, manage, and mentor the marketing team.
Set clear responsibilities, targets, KPIs, and deadlines for team members.
Delegate tasks effectively across digital marketing, content, social media, design, and campaign execution.
Review team performance and provide regular feedback and guidance.
Build a collaborative, creative, and performance-oriented marketing culture.
Identify skill gaps and support team development and training.
Ensure marketing projects are executed efficiently and to a high standard.
7. Content & Social Media
Develop the overall content and social media strategy in alignment with business and brand objectives.
Guide the team in creating content for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other relevant channels.
Identify trends, content opportunities, and audience insights.
Ensure content supports brand awareness, engagement, lead generation, and acquisition.
Oversee major social media campaigns and promotional initiatives.
Monitor audience feedback, comments, reviews, and overall brand sentiment.
8. Partnerships, PR & Business Growth
Identify and develop strategic partnerships with:
Colleges and educational institutions
Businesses and employers
Communities and organizations
Influencers and creators
Media organizations
Industry partners
Develop co-marketing, sponsorship, referral, and partnership campaigns.
Explore PR and media opportunities to increase brand visibility.
Build relationships with relevant external stakeholders and industry networks.
Identify opportunities that can contribute to customer acquisition, employer acquisition, brand growth, and market expansion.
9. Budget Management
Develop and manage the overall marketing budget.
Allocate budgets across digital advertising, traditional marketing, campaigns, events, partnerships, and other initiatives.
Ensure marketing spending is aligned with business priorities.
Monitor campaign costs and ROI.
Negotiate with vendors, agencies, media partners, and service providers where required.
Identify opportunities to maximize marketing impact within available budgets.
10. Analytics, Reporting & Performance
Establish and monitor marketing KPIs across digital and traditional channels.
Prepare regular marketing performance reports for management.
Analyze campaign performance, customer behavior, acquisition channels, and marketing ROI.
Turn data and insights into actionable marketing strategies.
Track overall marketing contribution to business growth.
Present campaign results, insights, challenges, and recommendations to management.
Establish a continuous testing and optimization culture across the marketing team.
11. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Sales, Product, Design, Content, Technology, and Management teams.
Collaborate with Sales to develop lead-generation and customer-acquisition strategies.
Work with Product teams on product launches, new features, promotions, and user-growth initiatives.
Coordinate with Design and Content teams to develop high-quality marketing assets.
Ensure marketing priorities remain aligned with overall business objectives.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
4+ years of experience in marketing, digital marketing, brand marketing, growth marketing, or a related field.
Proven experience in developing and executing both digital and traditional marketing campaigns.
Previous experience managing or leading a marketing team is highly preferred.
Strong understanding of digital marketing, performance marketing, social media, SEO/SEM, content marketing, and brand marketing.
Hands-on knowledge of Google Ads, YouTube Ads, Meta Ads, Google Analytics, and other marketing platforms.
Understanding of traditional marketing channels including events, activations, outdoor advertising, print, radio, TV, partnerships, and PR.
Strong knowledge of marketing KPIs, customer acquisition, conversion funnels, campaign analytics, and ROI.
Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and project management skills.
Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects, campaigns, teams, and deadlines simultaneously.
Strong analytical and data-driven mindset.
Creative thinker who can develop innovative marketing campaigns.
Strong understanding of the Nepalese market and consumer behavior is a strong advantage.
