Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced Designer to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional design skills, a passion for creating visually stunning work, a solid understanding of copywriting principles, and support the team by creating engaging visuals across print, digital, and social platforms, while contributing to our overall marketing efforts.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Design: Create visually appealing and engaging designs for various marketing materials, including:
- Print materials (brochures, flyers, posters, one-pagers)
- Websites, social media graphics, email templates, e-newsletters, presentations, and infographics.
- Branding materials (logos, stationery)
- Create animations and videos in formats like GIF, MOV, and MP4
- Copywriting: Collaborate with copywriters to develop compelling and effective copy that complements the visual design.
- Concept Development: Generate creative concepts and design solutions that align with brand guidelines and project objectives.
- Project Management: Manage design projects from start to finish, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables meet high-quality standards.
- Collaboration: Work effectively with a team of designers, copywriters, and other stakeholders to achieve project goals.
Qualifications
- Experience in Hospitality will be highly valuable
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of professional design experience.
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design projects, demonstrating exceptional design skills and creativity.
- Proficiency in design software (Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Figma)
- Skilled using video editing tools (After Effects or similar)
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Knowledge of copywriting principles and techniques (a plus)
- Experienced with web design tools like Webflow and WordPress
- Ability to design, animate, and produce demo videos showcasing Dharma's products and services is a plus.
