Our client, a leading financial technology company and one of the largest acquirers in the United States, is seeking an SVP of Marketing to lead the marketing organization and unify a global brand narrative and accelerate growth across a complex, multi-entity fintech ecosystem. This leader will own brand architecture, product marketing, demand generation, revenue marketing alignment, and marketing performance discipline. The role will partner closely with Product to connect feature launches to customer value and with Sales to improve pipeline quality and sales velocity. The ideal candidate has led marketing at scale and understands payments, regulated financial environments, and B2B marketing motions.
What You Will Do
- Lead, manage, and develop a marketing team across brand, product marketing, demand generation, revenue marketing, and marketing operations.
- Build clear positioning and messaging frameworks that support a consistent market presence across multiple business lines.
- Unify the company's brand narrative across a complex ecosystem of merchants, partners, developers, and other key audiences.
- Lead go-to-market planning for frequent product capabilities, enhancements, and feature launches.
- Translate product functionality into clear customer value, market relevance, and sales-ready messaging.
- Support adoption of additional products and services within the existing customer base.
- Build a more disciplined demand generation function across content, search, digital channels, campaigns, and nurture programs.
- Evaluate how AI-driven search, GEO, AEO, and evolving buyer behavior should shape the company's marketing strategy.
- Partner with Sales leadership to improve lead quality, pipeline contribution, nurture paths, and sales cycle efficiency.
- Strengthen marketing measurement across attribution, campaign performance, customer acquisition, budget allocation, and revenue impact.
- Use data to evaluate channel performance and guide marketing investment decisions.
- Improve category presence, share of voice, and brand trust in priority payment segments.
- Lead through ambiguity while maintaining focus on execution, accountability, and measurable business outcomes.
- Stay close enough to the work to evaluate execution quality, guide the team, and provide direction when needed.
What You Bring
- 15 or more years of progressive marketing leadership experience.
- Experience leading marketing at meaningful scale, ideally within a larger or more complex business environment.
- Experience leading and developing marketing teams of 15 or more people.
- Experience leading brand positioning, messaging, rebranding, or brand architecture work.
- Strong product marketing and go-to-market experience.
- Experience supporting frequent product launches or feature releases.
- Strong understanding of payments, eCommerce, fintech, or regulated financial services.
- Experience connecting marketing strategy to revenue outcomes, pipeline quality, and customer growth.
- Strong command of attribution modeling, LTV, budget management, and marketing performance reporting.
- Experience partnering closely with Product and Sales leadership.
- Ability to lead through change, ambiguity, and shifting business priorities.
- Hands-on leadership style with enough technical fluency to guide the team in tools such as HubSpot, Google Analytics, or similar marketing platforms.
