Primary Responsibilities
- Test Strategy & Execution:
Develop comprehensive Test Plans covering Functional, Regression, Mobile, Database, and API testing across browsers and mobile devices/emulators/simulators
- Test Automation Development:
Create, optimize and maintain scalable front-end and API automated frameworks and test scripts using Playwright, Postman, RestAssured, and Detox using Typescript/Javascript and Java
- CI/CD Integration:
Implement automated test suites into Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps or other CI/CD tools
- Test Management & Reporting:
Utilize test management tools like Xray, Mira or Zephyr
- Collaboration:
Work closely with developers, product managers, and UX designers to refine acceptance criteria and ensure quality standards
- Bug Triage & Prevention:
Identify, document, and prioritize defects using Jira and advocate for preventive measures
Required Skills
- 2+ years experience with testing consumer-facing applications
- Experience with Agile methodologies and working across different agile squads
- Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Experience testing both native mobile applications and websites
- Experience writing and maintaining test cases in tools such as Xray and building out test plans and bug reports
- 5+ years of quality assurance experience
- 3+ years of hands-on experience developing manual and automated tests for web and mobile applications
- Experience in Playwright for web automation using Typescript/Javascript, API and mobile automation
- Experience with Git, or other version control tools
Preferred Skills
- Experience testing third-party integrations
- Experience using tools such as VPNs to simulate testing different business logic for users in other locations
- Experience testing user payments is highly desired
- Experience with automated testing of mobile applications using Detox
- Experience with API automation using RestAssured
- Experience with cloud-based testing platforms like BrowserStack or Sauce Labs
- Experience with Cloud Technologies like AWS or Azure
- Experience with Performance testing tools like JMeter or K6
- Experience with Security Testing
