This role is responsible for:

• Identify testing needs in terms of process and engineering approach
• Create test plans and Drive testing work into product backlog
• Hands-on implementation of testing software
• Develop techniques to automate manual testing by working with senior software and product engineers
• Drive company-wide testing strategy
• Develop, gather, and publish key metrics to determine the health and consistency of the tests.
• Use metrics to drive improvements in code design, tooling and prioritization

What We are Looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5-7+ years of software development and testing experience
• Proficiency in statically typed OO languages (Java, .NET, Kotlin)
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, Ruby)
• Familiarity with XRay test case management
• Develop and execute behavior-driven tests using Cucumber framework
• Create and maintain custom Gherkin steps for test automation
• Build and maintain UI tests using Playwright framework
• Configure and manage test automation pipelines in GitLab
• Identify, analyze, and report software defects and inconsistencies
• Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders on requirements and testability
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues independently
• Participate in code reviews and process improvement initiatives
• Analyze test results, document findings, and drive continuous testing improvements
• Financial industry experience a plus
• Experience using the FIX protocol a plus
