The role
We’re looking for a hands-on, experienced Lead Product Designer to own and shape the user experience of their flagship iOS/Android mobile app. This is a high-impact position, reporting directly to the VP of Product and collaborating with engineers and the founder. You’ll be responsible for redesigning the app’s UX from the ground up - balancing innovation, simplicity, and customer needs.
What you'll be doing
- Lead the UX redesign of the app, maintaining the clean and intuitive experience users love
- Conduct user research and interviews to uncover core user goals and pain points
- Translate findings into prototypes, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs (Figma)
- Work closely with engineers to ensure smooth implementation and optimal performance
- Establish a regular user testing process and iterate based on feedback
- Own the design process end-to-end, from discovery to delivery
What we’re looking for
- 5+ years of experience in UX/UI or product design, with a focus on mobile apps
- Portfolio that demonstrates thoughtful, user-centered solutions and clean execution
- Strong UX research and testing skills; data-informed design thinking
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities across teams
- Proactive mindset and readiness to lead the design strategy independently
- Passion for solving real user problems - not just making things look good
Why join?
- A product loved by its user base with real-life health impact
- Full ownership and autonomy over design
- Close collaboration with senior product, engineering, and leadership
- A fully remote role with flexible hours
- Modern toolset: Figma, Slack, Linear, Notion, Posthog, Userbob
