Software Developer – .NET & React (C# / .NET / React)

📍 Remote-first (1 day/month in Tamworth office)

💰 £45,000–£60,000 depending on experience

Our client is an established software business that builds and maintains a large-scale, enterprise-grade platform used by household brands across the UK. With 15–20 years of proven success behind us and a transformation programme underway, we’re modernising our tech, architecture, and culture—and we’re looking for software developers ready to roll up their sleeves and help shape what comes next.

If you’re a full-stack developer with experience in .NET, C#, and React—and you're curious about cloud architecture, mobile tech like React Native, and microservices—we’d love to hear from you.

🧩 What You’ll Be Working On

You’ll be part of a supportive Scrum Team and work on:

• Greenfield projects – building our next-generation, SaaS-based platform using modern web and mobile stacks
• New feature development – extending our enterprise platform with scalable, maintainable components
• Supporting the BAU squad – assisting in live issue resolution and improvements when required

Their product is enterprise-grade and complex—interconnected systems, cloud-hosted architecture, and evolving mobile tools using React Native and Xamarin. There's always something new to learn.

🛠️ Our Stack (Old & New)

Current Core Tech:

• C#
• .NET
• VB.NET (still maintained)
• SQL Server 2019
• WCF, RabbitMQ
• Monolith architecture with client-server deployments
• TFS, Octopus Deploy, Bicep (CI/CD under evaluation)

Newer Direction:

• React & React Native
• Microservices
• .NET 6+
• GitHub, modern CI/CD
• Scrum with 2-week sprints and demos

✅ What We’re Looking For

You don’t need to know everything—but we do need solid fundamentals, curiosity, and commitment.

Essentials:

• Strong C# and .NET experience
• Solid experience with React (and/or React Native)
• Solid debugging and problem-solving skills
• Good grasp of SQL Server
• Exposure to cloud or enterprise-scale systems
• Willingness to learn and contribute across the stack

Bonus (but not required):

• Xamarin, MAUI, or mobile app experience
• Microservices, RabbitMQ, CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with legacy system migration or large-scale refactoring

💰 Salary & Benefits

• £45,000–£55,000 for strong .NET developers
• Up to £60,000 for candidates with proven React/React Native experience
