I’m currently supporting a global AI-driven fintech organisation that partners with leading banks, fintechs, and financial institutions to deliver advanced decisioning, fraud prevention, and credit risk solutions.

Their technology enables businesses to make faster, smarter, and more accurate decisions using machine learning and analytics at scale, and they are continuing to invest heavily in their Data Science capability across Europe.

They are now looking to hire a Senior Data Scientist to join their Global Applied Intelligence team, supporting clients across Spain and the wider Ibero-America region.

This is a highly consultative and commercially focused role, ideal for someone who enjoys combining technical Data Science expertise with client engagement and strategic problem solving.

You will work directly with enterprise clients to design and deliver high-impact machine learning solutions across fraud, credit risk, and collections analytics, helping organisations unlock measurable commercial value from their data.

Key requirements:

• 5-7+ years of Data Science experience

• Previous consultancy or client-facing experience

• Strong understanding of supervised and unsupervised machine learning methods

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to present technical findings to non-technical audiences

• Fluent Spanish and English language skills

• Exposure to CI/CD or MLOps environments would be advantageous

Location:

Madrid-based

Predominantly remote working

Occasional travel for client engagements and team meetings

Package:

Salary up to €100,000 + benefits
