Senior Ai Engineer

We are looking for an experienced AI Engineer to join a large-scale AI and data transformation programme on an initial 12-month contract.

You will be responsible for designing, developing and deploying AI solutions within an enterprise environment, working closely with Data Engineers, Architects and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop production-ready AI and Generative AI solutions
• Build and integrate AI applications using large language models
• Develop RAG-based solutions and AI-powered applications
• Integrate AI services and models into existing enterprise platforms
• Develop and maintain APIs and AI services using Python
• Work with Data Engineers and Architects to prepare and consume data for AI applications
• Evaluate model performance, reliability and scalability
• Support deployment and monitoring of AI solutions
• Follow best practices around security, governance and responsible AI

Required Experience

• Strong commercial experience as an AI Engineer or Machine Learning Engineer
• Strong Python development experience
• Experience working with Generative AI and LLM technologies
• Experience with RAG and vector databases
• Experience integrating AI models through APIs
• Experience with Azure, AWS or GCP
• Strong understanding of machine learning and AI concepts
• Experience deploying AI solutions into production environments
• Experience working within large enterprise environments

Contract Details
