We are seeking a full-time Product Designer who is bursting with creativity and passion for innovation. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in designing a range of office furniture and related products in our pipeline. Understanding of production processes is essential to ensure our designs are feasible and cost-effective to manufacture. Proficiency in AI tools like KREA, Vizcom, or similar software for brainstorming and ideation is a significant advantage.
What You’ll Do:
• Innovative Design Creation: Develop unique and original designs for a variety of office furniture and accessories.
• Feasibility Assessment: Ensure designs are practical for production, considering cost-efficiency and manufacturability.
• Manufacturing Collaboration: Coordinate with manufacturer to oversee the production process and ensure design integrity.
• Sample Management: Manage the sampling process, including evaluating prototypes and providing feedback for improvements.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sourcing and manufacturing, to bring designs from concept to reality.
• Trend Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to inform design decisions.
• Documentation: Prepare detailed sketches, renderings, and specifications for production.
What We're Looking For:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial design. A manufacturing background or experience working with production companies is a strong advantage, as the role involves preparing technical drawings for suppliers.
• Creativity: Strong creative vision with an ability to think outside the box.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in design software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite)
• Manufacturing Knowledge: Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and cost implications.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written Lithuanian and English communication skills.
• Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with team members across different departments.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
