DesignRush.com, the leading B2B marketplace connecting brands with agencies, is seeking a talented engineer with strong knowledge of AI tools, AI agents, and workflows, along with project management skills, to lead the planning and hands-on implementation of AI-driven features within our products.

Our platform offers four key values to users:

• Agency Rankings: Brands can view qualified agencies based on their expertise, location, clients, and various other factors.
• Awards: Agencies and brands can enter their finest work and compete for the best web logo, app, print, packaging, and video design awards.

• Spotlight: Agencies and brands can feature their expertise and achievements via news, interviews, and trends articles to get noticed and recognized as an industry leader.

The person in this role will be responsible for implementing AI processes and tools within other DesignRush teams, as well as being responsible for the growth of DesignRush products, including planning, estimation, prioritization, and execution of necessary projects and tasks.

DesignRush is seeking to make IMMEDIATE hires.

Goals:

• Transition dev processes into AI-powered workflows to reduce delivery time by 50-75%.
• Implement AI across departments (development, content, SEO, sales, marketing, operations, etc.) to drive efficiency.
• Design and launch AI features that enhance the DesignRush user experience.

Requirements:

• 4+ years in software development (PHP, Python, JS, Laravel highly preferred).
• 1+ year of experience working with AI agents, workflows, or integrations.
• Proven experience launching real AI tools (e.g., content tools, chatbots, automation agents).
• Strong project and product management skills (spec writing, estimation, prioritization).
• Excellent written/verbal communication and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working 6 AM – 3 PM EST.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with vector databases, LLM APIs, and prompt engineering.
• Familiarity with modern no-code/low-code AI tooling (e.g., LangChain, LangFlow, AutoGPT, Make.com).
• Working knowledge of frontend technologies (React, Vue, Tailwind).
• Personal AI blog/YouTube, open-source contributions, or tool portfolio.

Responsibilities:

• Lead AI initiatives across the company: planning, implementation, optimization.
• Prototype and deploy AI tools like smart content generators, bots, and workflows.
• Oversee DevOps and engineering timelines for AI-related projects.
• Own product specs and documentation for all AI features.
• Support cross-team collaboration (SEO, content, sales, ops) with tailored AI workflows.
• Establish best practices for AI development, testing, and deployment.
• Educate internal teams on how to use AI for productivity gains.
• Track efficiency improvements and report on the ROI of AI adoption.
• Ensure compliance with data protection laws and regulations for all AI initiatives.
• Document and update all specifications related to AI
