Senior UX/UI Designer (Remote - Australia)

The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior UX/UI Designer to join our fully remote team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a fast-paced, innovative company that values creativity, collaboration, and impact.

Key Responsibilities

*  Design user-focused wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity interfaces.

*  Iterate quickly based on feedback and evolving requirements.

*  Collaborate closely with engineers and stakeholders to ensure seamless implementation.

*  Maintain consistency through design systems and style guides.

*  Conduct usability testing to refine and validate design decisions.

*  Manage multiple projects effectively with excellent time management skills, utilizing project management tools to track progress and streamline collaboration.

*  Refresh design of DesignBff's website and ongoing maintenance.

*  Apply design thinking and agile methodologies to projects.

*  Conduct design research using a range of quantitative and qualitative techniques to understand and provide recommendations on consumer expectations and needs.

*  Illustrate findings persuasively, focusing on effective message delivery.

*  Track and analyze design performance, using insights to inform design improvements.

What You'll Bring

*  At least 5 years of solid experience in the UX/UI design field.

*  Proficiency in Figma, Webflow, Framer, Adobe XD, CC, and other design tools.

*  Strong understanding of visual hierarchy, typography, and brand consistency.

*  Extensive human-centred design experience.

*  Expertise in conducting customer research, problem solving, journey mapping, ideation, prototyping, and testing solutions.

*  Fluent in English, specifically being able to communicate industry terms and express your creative ideas seamlessly.

*  Knowledge of current trends in digital and interaction design.

*  Highly productive, solutions-focused, and detail-oriented.

*  A calm, professional presence with a collaborative mindset.

*  A self-starter.

*  Experience with professional service industries like legal, finance, accounting, etc., is an advantage.

*  Experience working alongside developers is a plus.

Location

This is a fully remote position, open to candidates based in Australia. The working hours are Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm local time.
