Derflan is seeking a Technical Marketing Manager to join a high-impact networking and cloud solutions engagement with our client, Microsoft. This fully remote position will serve as a bridge between engineering, sales, and marketing teams to create compelling technical content, support product launches, and enable customer-facing teams with the tools needed to influence technical buyers and decision-makers.
The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of technical marketing, product marketing, or solution engineering experience, strong technical understanding of networking concepts and protocols, and a proven ability to translate complex technical details into clear, actionable marketing materials. You must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain technical marketing content including datasheets, white papers, case studies, presentations, product demos, and training materials.
- Support product launches, ensuring technical positioning and content align with overall strategy.
- Conduct competitive analysis and technical benchmarking to highlight differentiators and inform marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with product management, engineering, and sales to translate technical concepts into compelling messaging.
- Engage with customers and partners to gather insights that shape product and marketing approaches.
- Provide technical enablement and training for sales and solution engineering teams, including support in customer conversations and technical inquiries.
- Contribute to planning and execution of technical events, webinars, and trade shows with technical presentations and demos.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in technical marketing, product marketing, product management, or solution engineering.
- 3+ years of experience working at Microsoft, either as a full-time employee or contract consultant.
- Strong technical understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and infrastructure.
- Ability to translate technical details into clear and compelling marketing content.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and effective at managing multiple projects in fast-paced environments.
- Demonstrated success collaborating across cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in B2B technology companies, particularly in telecom, cloud networking, or related industries.
- Hands-on experience with networking products and methodologies.
