Technical Executive Assistant
About the Role
We are seeking a highly capable Technical Executive Assistant to directly support the CTO. This role combines technical knowledge with exceptional communication skills and administrative capabilities to serve as an extension of the CTO in various contexts.
Key Responsibilities
• Represent the CTO in critical technical meetings and make informed decisions when authorized
• Triage and respond to high-priority communications across Slack, Linear, and email
• Drive technical initiatives and projects from concept to completion across multiple companies
• Analyze technical challenges and propose effective solutions
• Write code to unblock projects or validate technical approaches
• Manage the CTO's schedule to maximize productivity and strategic impact
• Build relationships with engineering teams to facilitate smooth execution
• Create clear, compelling technical documentation and executive presentations
• Ensure consistent implementation of technical decisions across organizations
• Identify process improvements and efficiency opportunities
• Translate complex technical concepts for diverse stakeholders
Requirements
• Mid-level technical knowledge in Full Stack (3+ years)
• Strong understanding of software development processes - Agile methodologies, Scrum, technical documentation.
• Exceptional verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly
• Ability to understand technical concepts and explain them clearly
• Experience with project management tools (Linear, Jira, or similar) and methodologies.
• Proven ability to prioritize competing demands in fast-paced environments
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proactive problem-solving abilities
• Creative and entrepreneurial skills with the drive to keep growing.
• Adaptability and comfort with wearing multiple hats
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Demonstrated discretion when handling sensitive information
• Self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently while maintaining alignment
• Adaptability to quickly learn new technologies, processes, and business contexts
