Senior UI/UX Designer

About the Role

We are seeking an efficient, creative, and intuitive Senior UI/UX Designer to join DepoIQ. In this role, you will design user-friendly interfaces for our AI-powered platform that serves both legal professionals and insurance customers. You will create clickable prototypes, conduct user testing, and collaborate with executives to deliver designs that translate complex data into accessible visual formats. This position requires someone who deeply understands the entire user journey and can think beyond the immediate requirements to create cohesive, intelligent solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design clean, intuitive user interfaces for our web-based platform
• Create compelling visualizations for complex behavioral analysis data
• Develop clickable prototypes in Figma for comprehensive user testing
• Participate in user journey mapping sessions with the UX head and head of product
• Collaborate with engineers to implement designs using React and TypeScript
• Conduct user research and usability testing with actual users
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for new features
• Design responsive interfaces that work seamlessly across different devices
• Translate complex behavioral data into accessible visual formats
• Contribute to product strategy through a deep understanding of the entire product ecosystem
• Communicate design decisions effectively to both technical and executive stakeholders

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design, preferably in SaaS or enterprise applications
• Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional visual design skills and UX thinking
• Proficiency with modern design tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar)
• Experience creating clickable prototypes and conducting user testing
• Strong knowledge of research and design principles
• Understanding of AI concepts and their application in user interfaces
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced startup environment
• Attentive, responsive, and proactive communication style
• Comfortable using collaboration tools like Linear and Slack
• Experience designing data visualizations and dashboards for complex information
• Understanding of design systems and component-based design approaches
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices

Nice to Have

• Experience designing for professional services or insurance industries
• Familiarity with React, TypeScript, or Ant Design
• Experience with motion design and micro-interactions
• Background in or exposure to behavioral analysis
• Experience working with design systems at scale
