🚀 Senior Backend Engineer (Node.js / TypeScript)

We’re hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to join a high-growth SaaS startup used by marketers and growing fast. You’ll join the Platform team — the group building the backend systems that power intelligent workflows, data-rich insights, and AI-driven creative tools.

We’re looking for someone with a backend focus, a growth mindset, and real experience scaling systems from 1 to 100 — not just greenfield MVPs or big-enterprise infrastructure. Think: lean teams, big ambition, and product impact from day one.

What You’ll Do:

• This role will focus on designing and implementing backend APIs and services that power our workflows for marketing and creative professionals.
• Work with Node.js, TypeScript and build and scale data pipelines and complex integrations (Meta API, etc.)
• You'll join at a pivotal growth stage (Series B) with the resources to build something significant but still have major input on architecture decisions
• Collaborate closely with product engineers to bring powerful features to life
• You'll be directly impacting customer-facing products that marketing teams rely on daily
• You'll be building cutting-edge workflows that combine the OpenAI SDK with heavily engineered prompts to deliver real value to marketing professionals

What We’re Looking For:

• A backend-leaning engineer with 10+ years of experience who has taken systems from "1 to 100" (not just "0 to 1" or "100 to 1000")
• Backend API Development: Deep expertise in designing and implementing scalable backend APIs using Node.js and TypeScript,
• A developer who has extensive experience with API integrations, ETL pipelines, and data processing
• Must-have SaaS experience
• System Integration: Extensive production-grade experience with API integrations (particularly Meta API) and asynchronous message queue systems for high-performance data processing.
• A clear communicator who can explain complex technical concepts to non-technical team members
• Familiarity with AI/ML tools like OpenAI SDK is a plus
