Job Summary
The Global Product & Marketing Senior Manager is responsible for leading all upstream and downstream activities for an assigned global orthodontic product portfolio, with a focus on driving innovation and advancing the company's presence in digital orthodontics. This role encompasses managing the product lifecycle from development to commercialization, including strategy development, project leadership, new product innovation, global marketing plans, brand management, pricing, and analytics to achieve revenue and margin growth. While direct reports may not be part of the role, the Senior Manager will lead cross-functional project teams and collaborate with partners to drive results through influence and leadership.

Key Responsibilities
Innovation & New Product Development:
Lead innovation pipeline development, collaborating with R&D, software development, legal, regulatory, customers, local commercial organizations, and clinical resources to establish directions.
Identify, research, justify, and launch breakthrough platforms, supported by business cases with sound financial analysis.
Provide cross-functional leadership for commercialization efforts, partnering with R&D, technology, and operations teams.
Strategic Planning & Portfolio Management:
Leads the GBU Strategic & Operational Plans, linked to customer insights, market data and research.
Oversee product portfolio and lifecycle planning, conducting regional industry assessments, opportunity gap analyses, and platform guidance.
Manage global brand positioning, price setting, and product/brand equity development.
Business Case & Forecasting:
Develop business cases & product forecasts for new product launches.
Global Launch & Commercialization:
Define, develop and implement global launch strategies, including commercialization tools and assets.
Analyze product performance metrics and KPIs post-launch to ensure objectives are met.
Market Research & Insights:
Initiate, develop and interpret market research to validate trends, quantify market opportunities, and refine product positioning.
Marketing Communications & Brand Management:
Develop creative strategies, including targeting, segmentation, messaging, and content creation for global product launches and campaigns.
Act as a brand ambassador to cross-functional and cross-regional teams, ensuring consistent messaging and positioning.
Manage relationships with customers, agencies, and other key partners to drive impactful marketing initiatives.
Pricing Strategy:
Develop and implement global platform pricing strategies.
Monitor, analyze, and authorize pricing adjustments and local deviations to align with strategy.
Training & Education:
Collaborate with Clinical Education & Training to develop launch plans and materials for all initiatives and programs globally.
Business Development & Strategic Partnerships:
Assess internal organic growth opportunities and identify potential acquisitions, partnerships, and in-licensing opportunities.
Participate in due diligence and develop business cases for external opportunities.
Leadership & Team Management:
Provide updates to senior management on key projects and initiatives.
Mentor junior team members.
Operational Excellence:
Develop samples, claims, and tools for marketing and regional commercial activities.
Monitor and address product performance issues and adhere to quality assurance measures.
Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and manufacturing SOPs through required training.
Compliance:
Ensure all initiatives are compliant with regulatory and legal standards and company policies.
