Responsibilities

- Build high-performance system software in Rust

- Work on the low-level runtime and networking layers powering Deno Deploy

- Participate in design reviews and communicate technical decisions

Qualifications

- 5+ years in systems or infrastructure engineering

- Strong Rust programming skills

- Experience operating distributed systems in public clouds (GCP, AWS, Vultr) with Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform

- Familiarity with technologies like Firecracker, V8, QUIC, BGP, and OpenTelemetry
