The Marketing Platform Specialist will be responsible for managing all non-advertising functions within the platform, including reporting and the configuration of audience segmentation, intent, and engagement settings. This role ensures the accurate setup and operation of these key platform features, enabling data-driven decision-making and optimizing platform performance.
Essential Job Functions “What You’ll Do”:
- Develop comprehensive mastery of the DemandScience platform, demonstrating advanced knowledge of all core functionalities including audience building, intent data management, engagement tracking, reporting configurations, advertising, email signature banner, and web personalization campaign management.
- Maintain up-to-date understanding of DemandScience platform updates, new features, and best practices through continuous learning and platform documentation review.
- Establish and manage a structured intake process for client requests related to platform activities, ensuring clear communication and timely implementation.
- Actively engage with project management platform to track, manage, and execute recurring tasks assigned by account team members, prioritizing and completing assigned tasks within specified timelines.
- Provide regular status updates within the project management platform, ensuring transparency and clear communication about task progress, challenges, and completion.
- Create and manage sophisticated audience segments using complex targeting criteria, leveraging intent data, firmographic information, and engagement signals.
- Configure and maintain dynamic lists that support precise account-based marketing targeting and reporting requirements.
- Customize dashboards and reporting views to meet specific client requirements and key performance indicators.
- While completing client tasks, monitor that the platform and data are operating as expected, quickly identifying and documenting any operational anomalies or system inconsistencies.
- As needed, prepare and submit detailed technical support tickets to DemandScience support team, including:
- Precise description of the observed issue
- Steps to reproduce the problem
- Potential impact on marketing activities
- Relevant screenshots or system logs
Essential Qualifications “What You’ll Need”:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Marketing, and/or Business preferred
- 2-4 years Marketing technology administration, operations, advertising or lead generation business
- Platform Administration: Ability to configure, build, and launch campaigns within the platform, ensuring optimal setup and execution.
- Process Execution: Completes assigned tasks within the platform based on automation tools like Monday.com or form submissions from internal teams.
- Task Management: Efficiently handles routine and ad-hoc tasks requested by clients, Project Managers, or Strategists.
- Technical Issue Escalation: Submits Support Tickets when the platform is not functioning properly, ensuring timely resolution by the Support and Engineering teams.
- Attention to Detail: Ensures accuracy and efficiency in campaign setup, configuration, and execution.
- Workflow Optimization: Follows structured processes for task completion, contributing to streamlined operations and consistency.
- Industry Knowledge: Stays informed on platform updates, automation tools, and best practices related to programmatic advertising and digital operations.
- Collaboration: Works effectively with internal teams, including Project Managers, Strategists, and Support, to ensure seamless platform operations.
- Autonomy and Ownership: Operates independently within the platform, taking ownership of tasks without requiring direct supervision or involvement in client support.
