We’re expanding our engineering team in Romania (remote-first, US market focus) and looking for a Senior Software Engineer who thrives in solving complex problems, writing clean, scalable code, and working with modern cloud architectures.

What you'll do

• Develop and deploy high-quality features in Java / Node.js
• Work across AWS serverless (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB)
• Design, optimize, and maintain SQL & NoSQL databases
• Support product, ops, data & call center teams with engineering expertise
• Write testable, scalable, and secure code

What we're looking for

• Strong experience with AWS serverless & REST APIs
• Solid database knowledge: Postgres, MariaDB, DynamoDB, Redshift
• Familiarity with Networking, Firewalls, Routing
• Comfortable working in distributed teams (GitHub workflow)
• Excellent written communication in English
• Bonus: CPaaS, AI / STT (speech-to-text) / TTS (text-to-speech)
