Profile: Delphi Software Engineer (Home Based / Remote)

Location: Home Based, Remote, Permanent

Who we are looking for –

An experienced Delphi Developer, or Software Developer that has worked with Delphi.

The Role –

Working alongside and closely with a Software Development team that build and support on new enhancements and functionality of existing business systems. This role will sit in a centralised Software Development team that are focused on platform stabilisation, building out new functionality based on business needs.

This isn’t a re-factoring role, they do make changes, but only one’s that have critical impact. They regularly receive new development requests from the organisation.

The Opportunity –

We’re looking for someone with proven Delphi skills, that has worked on scalable systems/platforms. This role can be based fully remote from anywhere in the UK, the business are also willing to provide training and development opportunities for people that want to learn new technology skills in other Software languages, but that’s not essential.

You’ll be permanently home based and have the opportunity to work with a talented engineering team.

The business are a global organisation, with 000’s of employees and billions £ in revenue.

We’re looking for skills in –

• Delphi, any versions are considered (they use 7 and some 11)
• Backend – someone familiar with any of the following SQL Server, Oracle or Sybase
• Ability to work from home, and interact with other developers and testers

Role can be commutable from Edinburgh, Glasgow, Scotland, England, London, Manchester, Birmingham, Nottingham, Sheffield, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, Southampton or any other areas
