UX/Product Designer

Job Description:

Neitec is seeking a visionary UX/Product Designer to lead our user experience efforts. This role is pivotal in shaping the user interface and enhancing user satisfaction through thoughtful design and comprehensive research. The ideal candidate will be deeply involved in user research, design processes, user validation, and collaborative feedback loops with front-end development teams, while emphasizing thorough documentation of all design processes and decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead UX design projects from conception to execution, including wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals, with comprehensive process documentation.
• Conduct extensive user research to gather insights into user needs and behaviors, documenting findings and their implications for design adjustments.
• Utilize user validation techniques to refine and optimize designs based on feedback.
• Work closely with front-end developers to implement designs, ensuring fidelity to the original vision and adapting to technical constraints.
• Manage design feedback loops, coordinating with front-end teams to handle revisions and task execution efficiently.
• Foster a culture of design thinking across the organization, encouraging innovative solutions and user-centric strategies.
• Maintain and evolve design guidelines, best practices, and standards to ensure consistent and high-quality design output, all clearly documented for future reference.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in UX design, particularly in leading design projects from start to finish.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in wireframing, prototyping, UX research, and visual design, accompanied by comprehensive documentation.
• Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, or equivalent.
• Experience in conducting user research and usability testing to validate design decisions, with detailed documentation of methods and results.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish, capable of effectively articulating design concepts and strategies both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic startup environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
• Significant professional experience in UX design, preferably in tech or finance sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to integrate user feedback into the design process.
• Previous experience in a startup environment is a plus, reflecting a flexible and adaptive work style.
