The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in building new features, improving system performance, and helping shape the future of DealerRock. You’ll work closely with the founders to influence product direction and contribute to a system designed for long-term scalability. We’re looking for a rockstar that can do amazing work!

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and implement new features for the DealerRock platform

• Optimize and improve system performance, scalability, and security

• Work across the full stack with a focus on MSSQL, MVC architecture, and C#

• Maintain and enhance our Azure-hosted infrastructure

• Collaborate with the team to shape product architecture and technology decisions

• Solve complex problems related to dealer management workflows

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in software development (minimum)

• Strong experience with C# and .NET MVC architecture (minimum of 5 years)

• Proficiency in MSSQL and database optimization

• Have proven experience with architecting features from the ground up

• Experience with Azure cloud services

• Understanding of scalability, performance optimization, and security best practices

• Self-motivated, problem-solving mindset with a passion for building great software

• Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment

• Experience with dealer management systems, marine, or RV industries is a plus

• You must be located in the United States. We are NOT looking to outsource this!
