About the Job
We are seeking an experienced and user-focused AI Product Manager — Creative Tools to lead product strategy and delivery for AI-powered tools used by artists, designers, studios, and creative teams. In this role you will define product vision, prioritize roadmap items, and coordinate cross-functional teams (ML, engineering, design, content, and go-to-market) to build reliable, ethical, and delightful creative workflows. The ideal candidate combines product leadership with strong technical literacy in generative AI and a deep empathy for creative users.

Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Roadmap: Define the vision, roadmap, and success metrics for creative AI products (generative image/video/audio, assistive tools, plugins, SDKs, and APIs).
User Research & Validation: Run discovery with artists, studios, and creators (interviews, pilots, usability tests) to validate use-cases, gather pain points, and prioritise features.
Cross-Functional Delivery: Lead execution across ML research, engineering, UX, and platform teams to translate prototypes into production-quality tools.
Model & Pipeline Decisions: Work with ML leads to prioritise model choices (off-the-shelf vs fine-tune), data/labeling needs, inference & cost trade-offs, and latency/quality constraints.
Creator UX & Workflows: Design and validate workflows that fit creative practice (iterative exploration, versioning, export formats, asset management, collaboration).
Ethics & IP: Define guardrails for content safety, copyright, attribution, and provenance; collaborate with legal and policy to manage licensing and risk.
Go-to-Market & Partnerships: Own product launches, developer enablement, integrations (plugins, SDKs), and partnership strategies with studios, marketplaces, and platforms.
Metrics & Optimization: Set KPIs (time-to-output, retention, creators onboarded, engagement, revenue), run experiments, and iterate using qualitative and quantitative insights.
Documentation & Enablement: Produce product specs, sample workflows, templates, and API docs that help creators adopt tools quickly.
Stakeholder Communication: Present roadmaps, demos, and user-research findings to leadership and external partners; align stakeholders on priorities and trade-offs.

Qualifications
Experience: 4+ years in product management for developer or creative-facing products, or 3+ years with strong adjacent experience plus demonstrable domain expertise. Prior work with AI/ML products strongly preferred.
Technical Literacy: Comfortable with generative-AI concepts (diffusion, transformers), model fine-tuning trade-offs, inference costs, and deployment constraints; able to translate technical trade-offs to business decisions.
Creative Domain Empathy: Hands-on familiarity with creative workflows or prior work with artists/studios — you understand iteration, asset pipelines, and the needs of creative users.
Product Skills: Proven track record shipping product features end-to-end, running discovery, defining metrics, and leading cross-functional teams.
UX Sensibility: Strong sense for interaction design and UX patterns that support exploratory creative work and collaboration.
Ethics & Safety Awareness: Experience implementing content-safety controls, rights management, or responsible-AI practices.
Communication & Leadership: Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to influence engineering, design, and business partners.
Data-Informed: Comfortable with analytics (SQL or analytics tools), A/B testing, and experiment design.
Education: Degree in Computer Science, Design, HCI, Product, or equivalent experience; advanced degrees are a plus.
Nice to Have: Experience with creative tools (Adobe suite, Blender, DAWs), plugin ecosystems, or published projects that used generative AI.
