About Daytrip

Daytrip is the world’s leading platform for private car transfers, helping travelers move safely and comfortably between cities in 130+ countries. Recognized as a TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice since 2016 and rated 4.5 ★ on Trustpilot, Daytrip is one of the most trusted and fastest-growing traveltech companies. We are transforming how people move between destinations and how the industry thinks about private car transfers, creating a global product loved by travelers and trusted by top travel brands.

The Role

For a lot of travelers, Daytrip on web or in the app is the trip. They book there, follow their driver there, and find out where they are stopping along the way. We want that experience to feel finished, calm, and obvious on every screen, from booking to drop-off, and memorable enough that people come back.

As a Senior Product Designer, you will own the customer experience end to end, with a strong focus on our website. You will frame the problems worth solving, run your own discovery, design the solution, and bring the team with you. We are looking for a product thinker with strong visual skills and real ownership, someone who designs for engagement and conversion, not just clean screens.

There is room to grow here. If you want to take on broader influence over how design works at Daytrip, we will give you the space to show it.

What you will do

  • Own the problem, not just the screens. Spot opportunities, frame the problem yourself, and take it from discovery to shipped, polished UI. When a brief or a short spec is needed, you write it
  • Think like a product owner. Weigh user needs against business context, prioritize what matters most, and make design decisions that move real outcomes like bookings, engagement, and repeat trips
  • Design experiences people remember. Bring creativity and strong visual craft to the customer journey on web and app. The details that make someone think “that was nice” are part of the job
  • Run your own discovery. Use interviews, usability tests, and analytics to make better calls, and know when something is better tested live than researched for weeks
  • Move fast and learn. Go from sketch to prototype to a testable version quickly, read what happens, and decide what stays
  • Tell the story. Build a clear narrative around your work, run feedback sessions, align stakeholders, and pitch your ideas with confidence to engineers, PMs, and leadership
  • Raise the bar. Contribute to our design system and help set the standard for what good looks like across the product

To excel in this role

  • Solid experience as a product designer in an in-house product company, ideally a scale-up of similar size and pace. Agency-only or large-corporate backgrounds are usually not the right fit
  • Strong B2C experience, with a track record of designing for engagement, conversion, and customers who return
  • A portfolio with strong visual and interaction craft, and case studies that show how you framed the problem, made the calls, and what changed as a result
  • Hands-on experience designing for both web and native mobile, and a clear sense of how one experience should carry across the two
  • A strong sense of ownership. You work independently, prioritize well, and do not wait to be handed a problem
  • Excellent storytelling and presentation skills in English, written and spoken

Strong plus

  • Experience in travel, mobility, or marketplace products
  • Using AI tools in your design workflow alongside Figma
  • Experience building or scaling a design system

Why join Daytrip

  • Real ownership over a product used by travelers around the world, with work that ships and gets seen.
  • A clear path to grow your scope and influence as you prove it.
  • We build everything in-house, so design decisions turn into live product quickly.
  • Flexibility in how and where you work, hybrid from Prague or fully remote.
  • A diverse team of 15+ nationalities who value clarity, ownership, and follow-through.
  • A culture that brings people together: we work hard, laugh often, and support each other along the way.
