The Role

As a Medior Software Engineer - Full Stack, you’ll be part of the core team building Dawnguard’s platform. You'll work across the entire Dawnguard platform, from customer-facing Angular applications to the backend services, data pipelines, and cloud infrastructure that power them. While much of your work will focus on backend systems and cloud processing, you'll also contribute significantly to the frontend experience, helping deliver secure, scalable, and user-friendly solutions.

You’ll collaborate with engineers, product designers, and security experts to:

• Ensure stable typescript APIs for all the data the frontend application needs
• Build optimized and performant data transformations for a NoSQL database
• Maintain and expand the Pulumi Infrastructure as Code for our customer environments
• Maintain and improve DevOps processes such as CI/CD pipelines and Docker images
• Develop Angular applications by integrating backend services and translating product designs into interactive, user-friendly applications

Responsibilities

• Fully implementing new features in a small team, from refinement to release
• Using AI agents to write secure, stable and maintainable Typescript
• Participating in code reviews and deliver quality by ensuring code is tested
• Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and design the best solutions
• Keep codebases up to date with the latest versions of frameworks and dependencies

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in full stack typescript development
• Proficiency in Typescript, Express / NestJS, JSON, Angular and HTML5 & CSS3
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS / Azure and NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with ETL, IaC, event driven development and performance optimization
• Bonus: experience with SSO (SAML / OIDC) and working with LLMs
